The College of Science, Department of Mathematics, has discussed a master's thesis entitled "The Robustness of One-Way Analysis of Variance: A Simulation Study and Applications" by graduate student Asmaa Adnan Suwaidan. The thesis aims to address the problem of the classical F-test in one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) being highly sensitive to outliers and deviations from normality, and reviews alternative approaches such as the nonparametric Kruskal–Wallis test.
