Lecturer Dr. Hussam Hassan Abdul-Ali, from the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, participated as a discussion member in a master's thesis entitled "Qualitative and Quantitative Assessment of Water Erosion in Eastern Maysan Governorate Using Modern Technologies." The thesis was submitted by researcher Janat Hassan Obaidi, from the College of Arts, Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the University of Basra. Abdul-Ali received a letter of appreciation from the Dean of the College of Arts.
