The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra, Professor Majid Mohammed Jassim, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Haider Qasim Fadhel, participated in the discussion committee for PhD student Rasha Hani Hamid Ali from the College of Science at the University of Basra. The topic of her thesis was "Design of molecular sensors for glucose and COVID-19 drugs using transition metal-coated nanocontainers using quantum computational methods." This research contributes to the development of nanotechnology, which could have important applications in the medical field.
