Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Mohsen Ali from the Polymer Research Center at the University of Basrah participated in the discussion of graduate student (PhD) Rasha Hani Hamid from the Department of Physics, College of Science, University of Basra. Her thesis was titled "Design molecular sensor for glucose and COVID-19 drugs using nanocage by decorated with transition metals: Quantum computational methods." Dr. Aqeel Mohsen Ali participated as an examiner on the thesis discussion committee, within the context of enhancing cooperation between research centers and their corresponding colleges in scientific disciplines. The thesis addressed the design and study of nanosensors and drug carriers for medical applications.
