The first day of the "Engineering Certificate Equivalency and Introduction to the Engineering Fundamentals Test" course began today at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, with a distinguished attendance in the hall and widespread participation simultaneously online.
The Dean of the College, Professor Mufid Turki Rashid, opened the course with a speech in which he highlighted the importance of this international certification and the role of the College of Engineering in pioneering this unique experience in Iraq. He emphasized the college's commitment to overcoming obstacles facing its students and graduates, ensuring their opportunities in the local and international job market.
The first day's lectures, delivered by Dr. Muhammad Al-Tufan, holder of the international PE certificate, were distinguished by their excellent event management, which was reflected in the interaction of attendees both in the hall and online.
The course activities will continue for the next two days according to the announced schedule, starting at 10:30 a.m., with both in-person and online options, depending on the participants' preferences
