The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the top students who won the Creativity and Excellence Award in the assessment test, which included the specializations of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, engineering, law, health and medical technologies, and engineering technologies.
The Minister of Education commended the participation of 534 students representing 221 colleges in this scientific competition for top honors. He emphasized that the assessment tests and the Creativity and Excellence Award embody a profound philosophy in evaluating the educational process, measuring students' cognitive proficiency, and discovering their accumulated potential within an advanced scientific environment that keeps pace with global transformations.
In the presence of the Ministry's undersecretaries, university presidents, assistants, deans of colleges, department heads, and a select group of students, the Minister of Education added that the Ministry continues to strengthen its procedures for joint assessment tests between public and private universities and to consolidate its partnerships with international academic institutions. He noted that Iraqi universities have now become an active part of the global academic landscape and have achieved advanced positions in global rankings and rankings.
The honoring ceremony included a presentation by Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, Chairman of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, who reviewed the evaluation test tracks and the importance of the Creativity and Excellence Award in this field. The top students expressed their pride in the support and incentive initiatives sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, appreciating his commitment to providing an academic environment that encourages competition, creativity, and the advancement of knowledge in various fields of specialization.
