Professor Abdullah Abdul Aziz Abdullah, a lecturer at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, chaired the committee discussing the master's thesis of researcher Marilyn Karim Rasool at the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala. The thesis was titled "The Effect of Potassium Fertilizer and Spraying Kajarat Extract on the Growth and Yield of Two Turnip Varieties."
The study concluded that planting the local variety and adding potassium sulfate fertilizer at a rate of 200 kg/ha and spraying Kajarat extract at a concentration of 8 g/L yielded the best significant values in growth, yield, and active compound content.
