Professor Dr. Ammar Salman Dawood, Director of the Quality Assurance Division at the University of Basra Presidency, participated in a scientific workshop on "The Importance of Programmatic Accreditation for Colleges of Education and the Mechanism for Preparing Application Files for Accreditation" at the College of Education for Girls. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of programmatic accreditation in departments, as it represents a fundamental step towards ensuring the quality of education and achieving international standards in academic performance. The workshop also included a detailed explanation of the mechanism for preparing application files to obtain programmatic accreditation from the relevant council, in addition to discussing the challenges and solutions related to this area. This participation comes within the framework of the Deanship of the College of Education for Girls' continuous efforts to develop institutions and promote a culture of quality and academic accreditation at the university.
