The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has decided to consider the 2024/2025 academic year as a year of non-failure for students whose registration in undergraduate studies will be promoted.
The decision states: "In the interest of the future of our students, and to address the special cases of those who were unable to successfully complete the 2025/2024 academic year due to their academic circumstances, it has been decided to consider the 2024/2025 academic year as a year of non-failure for students whose registration in undergraduate studies (morning and evening) will be promoted in all approved study systems for that year."
The decision clarifies that this procedure does not include final-year students who were previously covered by the Ministry's letter No. (M 5/5660) dated April 30, 2025. It also does not apply to cases where the promotion of registration resulted from cheating, disciplinary sanctions, or forgery, in compliance with the provisions of the applicable Examination Instructions No. 134 of 2000 and its amendments.
