The University of Basra is holding the final rounds of the international 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition for doctoral students.
A select group of doctoral students who won the preliminary rounds from various colleges at the university will participate in the competition. They will present the summary of their research theses to a specialized scientific committee and an academic audience in just three minutes, using a simple and clear scientific style.
This competition aims to develop the communication and academic presentation skills of graduate students by presenting their research ideas in a concise and effective manner that focuses on the main message. It also aims to promote a culture of interaction and academic dialogue through robust scientific competitions.
