The College of Nursing at the University of Basra launched a comprehensive awareness campaign aimed at preventing suicide, a phenomenon alien to society. This initiative comes within the framework of its social responsibility and its commitment to promoting health and psychological awareness among students.The university presidency emphasized that the campaign aims to promote a culture of dialogue and psychological and social support, encourage students to seek help when needed, and limit the spread of this phenomenon, which is inconsistent with societal values and traditions.The college also called on all civil society institutions and relevant parties to cooperate and integrate in awareness efforts to build a safe and supportive academic and social environment for youth.
