The College of Nursing at Basra University organized its scientific symposium on the emerging corona virus, in cooperation with the Basra Provincial Office and with the participation of researchers from Basra University Dr. (Sundus Baqer Dawood), and each of the students, Salah Hazem Naim, Ahmed Ghazi Abdul Jalil, Russell Alaa Mohsen and Fatima Mahsa Jihad, and Qasim Khuraibet calm down, and the seminar, which was held under the slogan ((Pandemic viruses threatening humanity)), aimed to spread cultural and scientific awareness And knowing the basic and main causes of this deadly virus because it is a virus that causes upper respiratory infection and throat infections, and knowing the basic ways to protect us from this virus The symposium included several axes, the most important of which was a general picture of the disease, its history and methods of prevention. The second axis dealt with awareness of the disease with video clips, and the third axis dealt with the new virus and its characteristics, and the fourth axis dealt with the spread of the epidemic of the disease. The researchers called for taking the necessary precautions by avoiding contact with infected patients and avoiding direct interaction with animals. At the end of the symposium, Prof. Dr. ((Nael Hussein Ali)), the Dean of the College, said that it seeks to improve its scientific results. |
