The College of Engineering at the University of Basra participated in the welcome ceremony for new trainees organized by the China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation (cpecc). This ceremony was held within the framework of joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of training and professional development.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Mufid Turki Rashid; the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Professor Ammar Abdul Shahid Abdul Hamid; and the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Musab Adel Ali. During the event, the importance of strengthening academic and professional cooperation with international companies and providing an integrated training environment was emphasized, contributing to the preparation of engineering cadres capable of keeping pace with the demands of the labor market.
