The College of Science at Basra University organized a seminar (Theoretical Investigation of Arrays of Dielectric Rod Antennas Excited by a New Design of Microstrip Antenna) for the student . Mutashar The study aims New design of Microstrip Antenna (MSA) using are simulated using Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS),using to excited New design of a Dielectric Rod Antenna (DRA) and showing the extent of improvement in the performance of these antennas to be used to cover a wider range of frequencies after the improvement in their frequency bandwidth, based on recent experiments and research in this field. And included A presentation of the general concepts of antennas, their practical applications and the extent of development they are witnessing, where the study was based on basic axes, the first of which is the New design of Microstrip Antenna (MSA).. The second axis was use in feeding the dielectric rod antenna and the development of the case was in the third axis, which is the formation of Arrays of Dielectric Rod Antennas in several forms for the dielectric antennas and Excited by a New Design of Microstrip Antenna
