Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, the Student Activities Unit at the College, in cooperation with the Islamic Center of the South, organized the annual memorial and poetry festival today, marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the Master of the Resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his companions (may God have mercy on them).
The festival was attended by a wide range of official figures, including academic, religious, and social figures, as well as the representative of the University President, Professor Dr. Ayman Saleh Nemah, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs.
A group of faculty members, staff, and students from the college also attended.
