The Dean of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra, Dr. Wissam Juma Lafta, met with a delegation from the Al-Ain Foundation for Social Care to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in the humanitarian and social fields.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance integration between educational institutions and charitable organizations, contributing to the development of programs and services with a humanitarian dimension and strengthening the university's role in supporting community and knowledge initiatives.
The two sides agreed to prepare and implement scientific and applied studies by the college, to be submitted to the foundation in the humanities disciplines, with the aim of supporting its field efforts and improving the level of services it provides to target groups.
The meeting was attended by Hiba Youssef Al-Asadi, Head of the Continuing Education Unit at the college, who highlighted the importance of this cooperation in opening new horizons for interaction between the university and the community
