Ministerial Committee Hosted by the University of Basrah
The Dean’s Office of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah received the ministerial committee tasked with following up on the establishment of the Parasitology Branch in the college.
The visit included a field tour to inspect classrooms, laboratories, the library, and faculty offices, as well as to evaluate the newly established branch.
The committee discussed the achievements accomplished in recent months aimed at advancing the new department. It also noted several observations and issued directives to be implemented in order to provide an ideal educational and research environment.
Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin, stated that the new branch represents an important qualitative addition to the College of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Basrah. He emphasized that the purpose of the committee’s visit was to ensure the implementation of ministerial directives and to provide a scientific and research environment befitting this specialization, given its significant impact on both public and veterinary health.
