As part of the academic activities organized by the University of Basrah to promote scholarly research and knowledge exchange, the College of Education for Women / Department of History held a distinguished scientific seminar entitled:
“Biochemistry of Aging: Why Do We Grow Old?”
The event took place on the morning of Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Scientific Activities Hall – Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, with the attendance of a select group of academics, researchers, and students interested in the fields of biomedical science and medicine.

The seminar was held under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, President of the University of Basrah, and under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Abdul Nabi Abdul Hussein, Dean of the College of Education for Women.
