A delegation from the Ministry's National Evaluation Team visited the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Ahmed Falih Hassan from Al-Muthanna University, Assistant Professor Dr. Huda Abdul-Ridha Abdullah from Al-Ameed University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Faris from the University of Karbala. The delegation was accompanied by the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency, represented by Prof. Dr. Ammar Salman Dawood, Director of the Quality Assurance Division, and Assistant Professor Dr. Arej Hassan Salim from the College of Dentistry, as members accompanying the field evaluation team. The visit was to grant institutional accreditation to the University of Basra.
This visit came as part of the Ministry's efforts to obtain national accreditation, which contributes to enhancing the quality of higher education. It also falls within the framework of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to improve higher education and contribute to the development of society and the national economy.
The visit also included several important aspects related to education and quality at the College of Dentistry. During this visit, the program accreditation standards indicators were reviewed, based on clear evidence.
