Under the patronage of His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, the Global Entrepreneurship Week kicked off at the University of Basrah on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and will continue for two weeks.
The program encompasses a range of activities designed to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members, featuring workshops, seminars, and entrepreneurship bazaars.
The events will feature broad participation from the university’s colleges, in collaboration with several related institutions, to support start-up projects and link entrepreneurial ideas to the labor market.
This initiative is part of the university’s strategy to empower youth potential and create an academic environment that fosters entrepreneurial projects and ideas serving the community and contributing to sustainable development.
