University of Basrah College of Administration and Economics Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhem, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Ali Muslim Zwain Ali, the Technology Incubator Unit at the College, in cooperation with the University’s Technology Incubator Division, organized a series of activities to celebrate the Global Entrepreneurship Week from December 1–5, 2024.

The program included various events such as an Entrepreneurship Bazaar at the central courtyard on Sunday, December 1, a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship – Future Leaders” on Tuesday, December 3, and a session on “Keys to Successful Entrepreneurship” on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

These activities aimed to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among university students, encouraging them to develop innovative ideas and transform them into viable projects that contribute to local economic growth.

The events witnessed active participation from faculty and students, highlighting the university’s ongoing commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration between academia and the business community.
