The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra received a committee tasked with evaluating the scientific and academic status of the colleges of agriculture in Basra. This is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's program aimed at developing academic performance and enhancing the quality of education in colleges of agriculture nationwide.
They were received by the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Muhammad Al-Shawi, accompanied by the Scientific and Administrative Assistants and heads of academic departments. His Excellency gave a brief presentation outlining the college's most notable achievements and its ongoing efforts to advance the scientific and academic level.
During its tour of the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, the committee viewed the educational facilities and scientific laboratories, in accordance with the ministerial evaluation form. They noted the state-of-the-art equipment and interactive tools that contribute to raising the quality of education, enhancing students' practical skills, and supporting scientific research.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee praised the college's efforts and the development of its infrastructure and academic programs, emphasizing the importance of continuing this approach and strengthening cooperation between colleges of agriculture in Iraqi universities to exchange expertise and raise the academic level.
