Under the patronage of the respected University President, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, and in the presence of the Chairman of the CBRN Committee, Prof. Dr. Ali Jameel, the Chemical Safety Course was launched on Sunday, October 5, 2025, for the Chemistry Department students in the doctoral and master’s levels. The course activities were held in the Knowledge Hall in the halls complex, where Prof. Dr. Hussein Hassan Hussein gave a lecture on Chemical Safety in Research Laboratories, Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Ashour Rashid gave a lecture on Material Safety Data Sheet, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Abdul Samad Abdul Majeed gave a lecture on the hazards and effects of chemical materials. The course concluded with practical training on extinguishing fires by Assistant Lecturer Hadi Abdul Samad Jaber
