A scientific team from the Marine Science Center, consisting of researchers Adi Muhammad Has Qasim, Mustafa Sami Fadagh, Faleh Musa Jaafar, and Falah Marouf Mutlaq, conducted a scientific trip to Iraqi marine waters to study the biology of the Zubaidi fish in Iraqi marine waters, assess marine fish stocks, and estimate actual fishing effort. This is intended to develop and enhance marine natural resources and achieve underwater sustainable development goals.
The trip included collecting biological and environmental data through direct observation and surveys using techniques such as underwater photography, sample collection, and analysis of fishing data.
