The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra held a training course titled "Writing Scientific Research Using LaTex" with the participation of a group of researchers.
The course aimed to develop researchers' skills in mastering scientific research writing in a manner consistent with the requirements of international journals.
The course included a theoretical lecture and practical applications presented by lecturer * Eng. Abdul Hussein Aliel Khwaidem *, which discussed how to use LaTex to write scientific research and benefit from the program's features. LaTex provides comprehensive support for writing and formatting mathematical equations for inclusion in reports in the user's desired format and in a manner consistent with the format of international journals, saving effort, time, and skill. It is one of the most powerful programs for preparing and writing reports, theses, and scientific research.
