Dr. Saad Mohammed Kadhim, a lecturer at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra, participated in a training workshop organized by the British Council for heads of English language departments at Iraqi universities. The workshop was held within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the British Council, which sponsors and develops English language teaching worldwide.
The workshop aimed to update educational programs and curricula in English language departments at colleges of education, develop teaching and scientific research skills, and enhance academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and the British Council. It also aimed to exchange academic expertise and ideas among department heads, contributing to raising the level of English language teaching in Iraq
