Under the patronage of the Director General of the Marine Science Center, a celebration was held in honor of Mr. Mohammed Eidan Farhoud, an employee at the Marine Science Center at the University of Basra, who is about to retire.
The Marine Science Center, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and staff, held a ceremony honoring employee Mohammed Eidan Farhoud in the meeting hall, in recognition of his efforts and contributions during his tenure. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Abdul Zahra Abdul Rasoul Al-Helou and Ms. Haifa Ali Karim, Director of the Administration.
Dr. Abdul Zahra delivered an opening speech on this occasion, welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the importance of honoring the retired university employee. He wished him continued health and wellness and a happy life with his family. He also congratulated the other employees at the Center, urging them to continue their efforts to advance the university and to achieve success and fulfillment in their work.
The celebration included the presentation of certificates of appreciation and gifts to the retiree.
