The College of Nursing at the University of Basra participated in an honoring festival to honor a group of female university students wearing the Zainabiya Abaya. The festival was hosted by the University of Basra, in recognition of their commitment to authentic identity and high moral values, which represent an honorable model for Iraqi university women. Assistant Professor Hiba Abdul Baqi, a faculty member at the college, and a number of female students participated in the festival.
In his speech at the festival, Professor Jabbar Amin, Director of Cultural Relations at the University of Basra, emphasized that this honoring aligns with the university's efforts to promote sublime values and spread a culture of modesty and pride in religious and social identity among its students. He praised the students' honorable image, which embodies the authenticity of Iraqi society and its established values.
The festival featured the distribution of certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts to the honorees, amid an atmosphere filled with respect and appreciation, reflecting the University of Basra's commitment to nurturing young talents who combine knowledge, ethics, and commitment.
