The college of dentistry's deanship in the university of Basrah hosted a committee from the government department of health in Basrah, Dr. Husham Khadim Hamad, the supervisor of the section of dentistry's department ans Mr. Nameer Faris the supervisor of the pollution control department and Dr. Sarah Fadhil Azawi the supervisor of the dentistry's department and Mr. Moayad Abd Alhasan to talk more about the educational clinics in the dentistry's department and the common support between the ministry of health in Basrah and the dentistry's department in the university of Basrah.
The two sides discussed during the visit, the possibility of the mutual support in all medical sections and to make good uae of the already existing efficiency in the development of dentistry, aside from discussing the possibility of making workshops and lectures that aim to spread health awareness in community.
From his side, Dr. Husham khadim hamad has praised the university of Basrah and the department of dentistry for its outstanding role in the scientific community and its help for the department of health in Basrah facing the dangers of covid-19, and giving the consultancy to the locals, aside from ita role in starting educational clinics for dentistry that took a role in helping locals and the injured soldiers in "Hashid Shaabi" and their families, assuring his availability to stand with the university of Basrah.
