
The President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, inaugurated the educational clinics of the College of Dentistry this morning. The opening was attended by the Dean of the College, a number of faculty members, students, and university officials.
During the opening, the University President emphasized that the opening of these clinics represents an important step toward enhancing the practical aspects of the College's students and providing quality medical services to members of the community under specialized academic supervision. He also commended the efforts made by the College's Deanship and staff in equipping the clinics with the latest medical equipment and supplies.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Asaad Mohammed Kadhim, explained that the educational clinics will begin receiving patients and providing various treatments at nominal prices, taking into account the economic circumstances of citizens. He noted that students will work under the direct supervision of professors to ensure quality of service and safe procedures.
The opening ceremony concluded with a tour of the clinic halls by the University President and the Dean of the College, who reviewed the modern equipment and future work plans to develop educational and healthcare services at the College.
