The seminar hall at the Polymer Research Center at the University of Basra was rehabilitated under the supervision of the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Muhannad .J. Al-Asadi. This included the purchase of new chairs for the seminar hall, the donation of an informational piece for the hall from the center's staff, and the efforts of the technicians to ensure a new graduation ceremony.
