Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Majid Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, the Continuing Education Unit, the Women's Affairs Unit, and the Human Rights Unit organized an awareness lecture for female students of the College of Nursing on early detection of breast cancer. The lecture was delivered by Alia Hussein Ali, a faculty member at the college.
The lecture addressed how early screening is performed, its causes, and how to treat it through early screening.
The lecture aimed to raise health awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, highlight the latest diagnostic and therapeutic methods, and the role of doctors in providing counseling and psychological and medical support to women.
