As part of its policy to support academic competencies and value administrative efforts, the Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Asaad Muhammad Kazim, honored Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Taha Yassin by presenting him with a shield of excellence and a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his contributions and efforts during his tenure as Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs.
This honor came in recognition of Dr. Ali Taha Yassin's role in developing the college's academic and scientific path, as well as his diligent follow-up of student affairs, postgraduate studies, and scientific research throughout his tenure.
In the same context, the administrative duties of the position of Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs were handed over to Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Ali Al-Naml in the presence of the Dean of the College and a number of faculty members, in accordance with the official procedures adopted by the university.
In his speech, the Dean of the College emphasized that this honor represents a message of appreciation for all dedicated efforts and reflects the College's commitment to the principle of institutional continuity in managing its academic affairs. He wished Dr. Hassanein Ali Al-Naml success in his new duties and Dr. Ali Taha Yassin continued success in his academic career.
