The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized an educational seminar titled "The Right to Health." The seminar was organized by the Human Rights Unit in cooperation with the College's Legal Division.
The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Saeed Kazim Ahmed, who discussed the concept of the right to health as one of the most important fundamental human rights. He explained the legal and legislative aspects related to it, as well as the role of health and academic institutions in promoting this right within society.
The seminar was attended by a select group of faculty members, staff, and students, and featured scholarly discussions on the importance of spreading legal and health awareness and the need to promote a culture of respect for human rights within educational and healthcare institutions.
This seminar is part of the academic and awareness-raising activities organized by the College to consolidate human rights principles and promote social responsibility.
