The University of Basrah organized a workshop on Probiotics and Prebiotics
The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah has organized the workshop entitled "Probiotics and Prebiotics: Their Role in Public Health"
The workshop was presented by the lectures, Dr. Nawras Abdelah Alwan and Dr. Measem Ali Hassan. The main subject of the workshop included the concept of probiotics and prebiotics and their relationship to animal and human health. It discussed the significant important and mechanism action of both, and how can they be obtained.
The workshop recommended highlighting the importance of probiotics and uses in a good way, preferably from natural sources and may also from manufactured sources as nutritional supplements.
