Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Electronic Incubator Unit and the Student Activities Unit, organized a religious gathering on the birth of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).
Lecturer Farhan Layth Ayez participated in this event.
The gathering aimed to highlight the role of Lady Zaynab in Islamic history, particularly her heroic stances in the Battle of Karbala and her patience in the face of injustice and the challenges she encountered after the martyrdom of her brother, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The gathering included lectures on the life and virtues of Lady Zaynab, focusing on her patience, knowledge, and courage in various situations. Poetry and eulogies expressing love for Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) were also recited. Gifts were distributed during the gathering to commemorate this blessed occasion.
