Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbes, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit at the University of Basrah organized an online workshop entitled:
“The Mechanism of the Technology Incubator and Its Role in Supporting Youth”, held on Thursday and Friday, May 22–23, 2025, at 9:00 p.m.
The workshop featured distinguished speakers:
Prof. Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbes, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.
Mr. Imad Al-Din Hashim, Head of the Incubator Unit, Department of Research and Development – Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Nada Mahdi Khalaf, Head of the Technology Incubator Unit at the University of Basrah.
The workshop aimed to highlight the vital role of technology incubators in empowering youth, supporting innovative ideas, and transforming entrepreneurial concepts into real projects, as well as to introduce the operational mechanisms and strategic objectives of the incubator in fostering an entrepreneurial environment within the university.
