A number of students and faculty members from the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra participated in the bazaar of the Second Residential City of Hope. They set up a booth offering free dental checkups to citizens and providing educational advice and guidance on oral and dental health for various age groups.
The event also included accompanying educational and recreational activities, such as distributing symbolic gifts to participants, in an atmosphere of interaction and a large turnout of visitors.
Lecturer Zainab Abdulkarim, Head of the Teaching Clinics, indicated that this participation is part of the community and service activities that the college is keen to implement, reinforcing its humanitarian and medical role in serving the community and spreading health awareness among citizens.
