The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar on "A Comparison of Lateral Lines in Some Commercially Imported Fish in the Shatt al-Arab, Southern Iraq."
The seminar, presented by researcher Fatima Asaad Lazem, aimed to describe the morphological characteristics of the lateral line in commercially important fish species, compare the number, length, and shape of lateral line scales among different fish species, and analyze the relationship between lateral line characteristics and feeding behavior.
