Dr. Nawfal Abdul-Amir Hussein, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, delivered a scientific lecture at the Basra Technical Institute on "Modern Dietary Habits and Their Hidden Impact on Human Health."
The lecture aimed to highlight the shifts in contemporary dietary patterns and the impact of fast and processed foods on individual and societal health. It emphasized the importance of returning to traditional healthy eating habits and being aware of the dangers of unhealthy dietary behaviors, the effects of which may only become apparent in the long term.
This participation is part of the scientific and awareness-raising activities through which the College of Agriculture seeks to promote nutritional and health awareness within the academic community, in cooperation with various higher education institutions in Basra Governorate.
