The Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Mohammed Al-Nawab, congratulated the female student sports team on their athletic achievement and encouraged such initiatives across all colleges.
The female student team, winners of the University President's Cup, were honored for their efforts in securing third place among all colleges.
Dr. Al-Nawab commended this significant achievement, emphasizing his continued support and sponsorship of student activities, recognizing their crucial role in shaping students' character and developing their abilities.
He also stressed the importance of volunteer work in promoting the values of solidarity, social cohesion, and national unity among young people.
