The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on Scientific Research Methodology as part of Module Eight of the Fifth Teaching Methods Course, within the Humanitarian Specialization, according to the updated curriculum for the Southern Region. The lecture aimed to explain the correct scientific standards for organizing and conducting research and to introduce the methodology and steps of writing a scientific research paper.
Delivered by Tharaa Abdulrasool Hassan, the lecture covered the definition of scientific research, types of research methodologies, research standards, and the steps involved in writing a research paper.
At the conclusion, the lecture recommended continuing training courses on research methodology for faculty members and higher education instructors according to their needs, and emphasized the continuous effort of researchers to enrich knowledge through scientific developments.
