Dr. Hanan Ahmed Abdul Karim and Dr. Fadia Yaqoub Yousef, faculty members from the College of Education for Women, participated in a scientific seminar entitled "The Impact of Drugs on Women's Health," held in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Arts.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness among female students about the dangers of drugs by highlighting their devastating physical and psychological effects. It also aimed to develop their ability to cope with psychological stress, enhance their self-confidence, and encourage them to engage in positive and constructive activities. Furthermore, the seminar emphasized the importance of disseminating community awareness through effective campaigns, initiatives, and programs that contribute to reducing the spread of this phenomenon.
