The Cultural Center Organizes a Dialogue Session on Strengthening University Identity and Belonging
The Cultural Center at the University organized a dialogue session titled "The Role of the Cultural Center in Strengthening University Identity and Belonging," with the participation of a number of students and faculty members and in the presence of academic unit officials.
The session, chaired by Professor Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jafar, addressed the importance of the role played by the Cultural Center in supporting students' university identity and enhancing the values of belonging through cultural, artistic, and interactive programs it offers. The speakers also discussed the impact of student initiatives and creative events in building a cohesive university community that connects students to their university.
The participants emphasized the need to develop cultural programs and to innovate new methods to attract students, as well as to expand partnerships with cultural institutions and activate media platforms to publicize events.
At the conclusion of the session, the Director of the Cultural Center affirmed the center's continued commitment to offering quality programs that contribute to strengthening identity and belonging, and to providing a university environment that encourages creativity and interaction.
