University of Basrah organized seminar on drug structural modification strategies
The College of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled "Drug Structural Modification Strategies to Improve Pharmacological Properties."
The seminar was presented by Dr. Wasfi Abood Laibi, who explained the concept of strategies about the modifying chemical structure of drugs to improve their efficacy, for instance, increasing their effectiveness against bacteria or regulating blood glycate, blood hypertension, other.
The seminar recommended on emphasizing the importance of following strategic methods in preparing drugs and derivative medications, as well as performing the necessary tests to diagnose, and primary tests on laboratory animals, and conducting further studies to approve the efficacy of prepared drugs.
