The College of Education for Humanities Holds an Informational Poster Exhibition
The Guidance Unit at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, held an informational poster exhibition. The event was attended by the Dean's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Imam, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Mustafa Jawad Abbas, and a number of faculty members and students from the department.
The exhibition aimed to provide students with essential information to enhance their university experience and support their academic journey.
The exhibition featured a variety of posters highlighting the important role of the Guidance Unit in supporting students academically, psychologically, and professionally. It also offered guidance on adapting to the university environment, maintaining mental health, managing stress, and achieving emotional balance both inside and outside the classroom.
The exhibition also included awareness posters addressing the dangers of smoking, drug use, and internet addiction. The goal was to cultivate well-informed students capable of avoiding negative behaviors and developing their talents and creative abilities, thus contributing to a positive university environment.
