The College of Education for Sciences Hosts Preacher and Orator Sadiq Al-Muruj
The Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Basra, hosted the preacher and orator Dr. Sadiq Jaafar Al-Muruj in a scholarly event attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Wissam Jumaa Lafteh, and a number of faculty members and students.
Al-Muruj delivered a lecture entitled "Fatima and Fatima," in which he discussed aspects of the noble lives of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and Lady Umm Al-Banin, highlighting their roles in establishing a system of ethics and correcting the behavioral course of society.
Al-Muruj emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from their values in guiding youth towards the right path based on loyalty, sacrifice, and sincerity, noting that emulating their lives is a fundamental pillar in building a conscious generation capable of facing contemporary ethical challenges.
The Dean of the College praised the lecture and its educational and ethical content, which aims to deepen students' awareness—a goal the College is committed to fostering.
