The Mechatronics Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, held a workshop for postgraduate students entitled:
Using the Editorial Manager Platform of Elsevier to Upgrade and Evaluate Scientific Research
This workshop, presented by Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Abdul, is part of the college's activities to support the scientific and research skills of postgraduate students at the University of Basrah through the use of global platforms, including the EM platform, for uploading and evaluating scientific research. This workshop also comes in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education, which encourages Iraqi scientific journals to use such global platforms to manage their journals, thereby increasing accuracy and transparency and facilitating their inclusion in international databases. It is worth noting that the workshop was registered on the ASDPS platform for Iraqi postgraduate studies.
