The Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Basra, organized a photo exhibition to commemorate Iraqi Victory Day. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Wissam Jumaa Lafteh, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Imam, and a number of faculty members and students.
The exhibition aimed to highlight the heroic victories achieved by the Iraqi Army, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and the various branches of the security forces against the Takfiri ISIS gangs, and to commemorate the immense sacrifices made by the people of Iraq.
The exhibition featured a collection of photographs documenting the epic battles and heroic deeds of the Iraqi armed forces on the battlefields, as well as images of the martyrs who, with their pure blood, wrote shining pages in the history of modern Iraq.
The Dean praised the exhibition, stating that this event serves to strengthen the spirit of belonging, instill the values of sacrifice and selflessness, and highlight the heroic role of the armed forces in achieving victory and preserving the security and stability of the country.
