A scientific lecture on Fluoride and dries was organized by the College of Dentistry at Basrah University. This lecture, delivered by assistant lecturer Sarah Wadih Hashim, aims to raise the awareness of using fluoride to treat tooth sensitivity and prevent caries.

The lecturer was mentioned that the use of fluoride must be under the supervision of a doctor. She added, there are some tips that must be adhered by the user, including

  • Don't eat or drink for 30 minutes after using a fluoride mouthwash to keep their impact on the teeth.
  • Be careful about using fluoride by children as they may be toxic when ingested.

Sarah concluded her lecture by noting that fluoride is widely available in dentistry clinics.
